Welcome to Bankwood Primary School

​I am delighted  to be headteacher and a part of this amazing school that is in the heart of the community. The school’s vision and values reflect our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. We work hard to create a climate that is caring, inclusive and supportive; with a focus on learning. We educate the whole child and aim for our children to receive high quality education that  prepares them for adult life. 

Bankwood Primary is a large, two-form entry primary school for Reception to Year 6 in the South of Sheffield, with a nursery for 2 and 3 year olds. The school is vibrant and happy,  set in wonderful grounds and enhanced by a Forest School. It is led by a team of hard working, experienced and committed staff.  I am really looking forward to continuing our exciting journey of improvement and working to ensure the very best for our children.
